My first chiptune release.

All sounds were created using a gameboy running the program LSDj, a tenor saxophone, and a sound file of Star Trek sound effects.

As much as instrumental music can be about something, here were my inspirations for each song:

Track 1 - My take on Sirius by the Alan Parsons Project
Track 2 - Based on the sensation of a headache caused by eating too much pizza
Track 3 - An attempt to make something high energy in a major key
Track 4 - Based on the characters Data and Geordi La Forge from Star Trek: The Next Generation
Track 5 - Based on the TV show Kenny VS. Spenny

The cover art is a data bent Gameboy Camera picture of my brother and I from the year 199X.

released March 17, 2013

Thanks to Nick Reynolds for helping me record, mix, and master.

Thanks to my ROCHESTER CHIP bros, especially Revengineers, the Chip's Challenge Boys, and VJ PLS. Check out ROCHESTER CHIP at .

Steven Boyar was never cool enough to be in a band. Instead he makes weird music with his dad's saxophone and a gameboy he bought at a garage sale. Expect jazzy riffs, improvised solos, and jokes about cats. Once there were marshmallows.
